A: As for the association between stroke and migraine with aura, the data which we possess is still under debate, although it is generally believed that there is a possible increased susceptibility to stroke in female patients suffering from migraine with aura. This pathology is also associated with smoking, the use of estrogen progestin pill, and coagulation abnormalities.
