It can also be used to relieve the itching and redness associated with urticaria.

Typically, Cetirizine is assumed once a day orally, in the form of tablets, chewable tablets or syrup.
The active substance is also available in combination with pseudoephedrine.

- Diarrhea

Contraindications and warnings associated with the use of Cetirizine
Cetirizine may affect the ability to drive or operate hazardous machinery. In addition, alcohol can increase drowsiness induced by the drug.
The drug should not be used to treat hives associated with wounds or blisters, unusual discoloration or itching. In these cases it is good to discuss with your doctor, report the symptoms associated with the problem, as well as contact your doctor if a rash treated with this active ingredient does not improve within the first 3 days of treatment or if it lasts for more than six weeks.
Before taking Cetirizine, it is important to inform your doctor:
- If you are allergic to the active substance, hydroxyzine or any other medication
