Dr. Stefano Bona is specialized in General and Thoracic Surgery. He trained at Milan University Hospital and at “Centre Hospitalier Princesse Grace” in Principality of Monaco (Principauté de Monaco). He is Consultant at Humanitas Research Hospital in Milan since 1996. He is also Coordinator of “Enhanced Recovery After Surgery” program.
Dr. Bona has extensive experience in advanced minimally invasive techniques, colorectal and pelvic floor surgery, coloproctology, surgical oncology, hernia and abdominal wall surgery and ambulatory surgery, which represent his fields of interest and research.
In his career, he performed over 3.000 procedures in abdominal and thoracic surgery with open and minimally invasive techniques. Dr. Bona is Professor of Surgery at University of Milan.
