Doctor Barbara Sarina is a haematologist and the cell therapy section assistant in Humanitas Research Hospital.

Her clinical activity is mainly focused on cell therapy. She handles patients affected by onco-haematological pathologies and patients who underwent allogenic transplant from a familiar or an alternative donor (registered donor, cord donor or haploidentical donor), both in outpatient, day hospital and inpatient regimens.

Her research focuses especially on Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, chronic and acute leukaemia, myelodysplastic syndromes and short or long term complications due to transplants.

Dr. Sarina stands out for expertise in the research of the alternative registered donor.
