What is Fosinopril?

How should Fosinopril be taken?
Fosinopril is administrated orally, usually in the form of tablets administered 1 or 2 times a day.

- If you are allergic to the active substance or to other medicines, especially benazepril, captopril, enalapril, lisinopril, moexipril, perindopril, quinapril, ramipril and trandolapril
- If you are taking any other medicinal products, herbal remedies or supplements. Mentioning in particular: diuretics, lithium and potassium supplements
- If you are on dialysis or if you suffer (or have ever suffered) from lupus, scelrodermia, heart failure, high blood pressure, diabetes or kidney or liver disease
- If you are pregnant or breastfeeding

Finally, in case of treatment with antacids, it is good to take them 2 hours before or after taking Fosinopril.
