Doctor Antonio Voza is the Unit Director of the Emergency Medicine Unit at Humanitas Research Hospital.

In the emergency room, he is developing clinical paths that use clinic ultrasound as a fundamental step to define the diagnosis of each patient. This process has the goal of a more accurate diagnosis in the shortest possible time, and to use of second level instrumental exams only in specific selected case.

Above all, his fields of research are: non-invasive mechanical ventilation in acute pulmonary oedema, Sepsis and SIRS, duration of the antibiotic therapy in hospitalized pneumonia, causes of failure in the hospital management of pneumonia and use of PTX3 as inflammatory marker in pneumonia.

Current Teaching Activity: Doctor Voza has been tutor for students of III, IV and V years. He participates in various elective courses (Interpretation of Arterial Hemogasanalysis, ALI/ARDS, Principles of non-invasive Mechanical Ventilation, Syncope).
